The county squash championships head to Alderley Edge this October. A, B and new-for-2026 C draws with plates and racketball on the first weekend, then six masters age groups on the second, all on one site.

The events
An event for every level and every age
Squash draws and racketball run on weekend one, masters on weekend two. Masters, racketball, B and C draws depend on entry numbers. We may merge age groups or run straight finals if a category is short, so the surest way to get your competition on is to rope in similarly aged Cheshire players.

A, B and C draws
Men's and women's A and B, plus a new C grade for 2026 so improving players get a competitive draw of their own. Seeded knockouts with a plate for first-round losers, so everyone gets at least two games.

Racketball
Men's A and B racketball draws, played alongside the squash on the opening weekend. Knockout with a plate where numbers allow.

Men's masters, over 35s to over 70s
Six age groups: O35, O45, O50, O55, O65, O70. Usually monrad or round robin with a final between the top two.

Women's masters
Women's over 35s is on the entry form, with further age groups run whenever entry numbers allow. Flag your interest when you enter and bring a club mate or two.
Play early rounds near you. Early-round matches can be played at a mutually convenient club if both players agree. Enter up to two events.
Entry fees
Maximum two events per player. Pay online at entry, or by bank transfer if you prefer.
